Description Purple Cow Recruiting is seeking a Licensed Psychologist who is looking for autonomy, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact working with veterans and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. This role will provide psychological services across two skilled nursing facilities — one serving disabled retired veterans and one serving a general geriatric population. The Psychologist will focus on psychological evaluations, diagnostic clarification, and individual psychotherapy while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team. Position Highlights Full-time Monday–Friday schedule No traditional call responsibilities Autonomy to structure your day independently Productivity model of 15 units per day Opportunity to leave early once units are completed Remote charting flexibility Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment Strong productivity-based earning potential Meaningful work serving veterans and older adults Responsibilities Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments Provide diagnostic clarification Deliver individual psychotherapy services Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain timely and accurate documentation Manage patient caseload independently Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $145,000 Tiered monthly productivity bonus Psychologists commonly earn an additional $3,000–$5,000 monthly Requirements Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD required) Minimum of 1 year post-licensure experience Comfortable working autonomously Experience or interest in geriatric and veteran populations preferred Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
