Make an impact at Serco As a Psychologist in the Psychological Services & Interventions team, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the rehabilitation of prisoners by delivering high-quality psychological services. You’ll be based at the Clarence Correctional Centre in Lavadia, NSW, contributing to a safer and more constructive correctional environment. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for psychologists at all levels — from provisional registration through to senior practitioners — who are ready to support, innovate, and develop their clinical practice. To be successful in this role you’ll have: Professional registration as a Psychologist (Provisional, General, Clinical, or Counselling registration accepted) The ability to integrate theories of mental health (general and forensic mental health) and forensic risk assessment frameworks into your clinical practice A caring nature and commitment to prisoner rehabilitation, including completing risk assessments, delivering individual therapeutic counselling, and preparing defendable documentation The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour Solid understanding of evidence-based practices in the assessment and intervention of diverse psychological and behavioural presentations Knowledge of social and clinical variables associated with significant offense categories is desirable Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing psychological services and programs Qualifications and professional registration Professional registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist (provisional through senior registration levels) Postgraduate experience delivering individual counselling, ideally within correctional, welfare, or institutional settings, is highly regarded Are you ready to do important work that really matters?
