POSITIONS PURPOSE  Concordia University Texas is currently searching for an Adjunct (part-time) Professor to teach “Lifespan Development” in our Psychology program in person at our main campus in Austin on MWF mornings for our Fall 2026 semester.   About the Course Lifespan Development covers the scientific study of human behavior with emphasis on behavior as it goes through the sequential stages of growth and change. We will examine how people are continually developing- physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially, from infancy to old age   REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & PRINCIPLES * Master's degree or higher in Psychology or related field with at least 18 graduate hours in psychology, counseling, or related course work. * Practical experience in the subject matter preferred * Prior teaching at the higher education level preferred * Love and passion for teaching and engaging diverse student populations required * Ability to articulate and model the Concordia University Texas’ mission, vision, and values * Commitment to encouraging and supporting diversity, inclusion, and equity as a key component of becoming the premier university where the adventure of faith, learning, and life-changing experiences leads to meaningful work * All CTX positions require mission-driven individuals who have a heart for the Gospel and are committed to the Concordia Distinctive, our faith-based mission of empowering students from all backgrounds to lead lives of critical thought, compassionate action, and courageous leadership.
