GSL SEN Education are looking for Psychology/ Criminology/ Sociology/ Education studies Graduates based in Leicester to work as SEN LSAs (Learning Support Assistants) in one of our specialist schools for children who have an EHCP for their trauma, social, emotional, and mental health challenges, ADHD, ADD, OCD and several more associated conditions.
The LSA role being aimed at sincere Psychology/ Criminology/ Sociology/ Education studies Graduates, looking to gain practical experience within the field. This role will help you with your aspirations within Clinical Psychology, Advocacy and Youth/Social Justice and for those trying to gain experience before entering the world of Teaching, giving you daily exposure to just how nuanced and vital this role is.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS ROLE REQUIRES A STRONG KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION AND THAT SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST SATISFY ALL BACKGROUND SAFER RECRUITMENT CHECKS; INCLUDING PROVIDING AN ENHANCED DBS CERTIFICATE REGISTERED ON THE UPDATE SERVICE OR COMPLETING AN APPLICATION FOR A NEW CHECK.
