    Although the role is based around education support, due to the children’s personal needs and behaviours they require consistent mentoring, motivating and advising, as well as some counselling, so their well-being can remain stable meaning they can achieve much more in their education and work towards an more independent future.
    Behaviors displayed by the children can be challenging so applicants must be prepared to practice De-escalation and calming techniques, as well maintaining an empathetic approach and understanding behaviors stems from other problems. candidates from care, sports, psychology, criminology, sociology and youth work backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
