Step Into Teaching are working with a wonderful SEN school in Coalville who are looking for looking for an approachable, caring, and understanding graduate to work as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant with the desire to work with SEN pupils.
This is a full-time role that will begin in September and run for the next academic year. So, if you’re looking for a great opportunity to work with SEN pupils and gain classroom experience with the idea of moving into a teaching role in the future.

Responsibilities
  • Working with specific children of all ages that require extra help and target support, depending on their needs
  • Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 1-1 and small groups
  • Planning and resourcing intervention sessions
  • Working alongside other professionals to assess children including writing EHCPs
  • Working with other teaching staff to design the best strategies to meet a pupil’s needs
