Are you a Psychology graduate hoping to pursue a career in Educational Psychology?
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical, school-based experience in a welcoming primary school in Clacton-on-Sea – perfect preparation for Educational Psychology training routes.
Starting in September 2025, you’ll join the school as a SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. You’ll gain first-hand experience with EHCPs, 1:1 intervention work, classroom observations, and multi-agency collaboration — all invaluable for future postgraduate applications.

• Supporting children with a range of learning and behavioural needs
• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
• Working closely with experienced SEN professionals and class teachers
• Supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Assisting with classroom assessments and progress tracking
• Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
• Collaborating with external specialists such as Educational Psychologists and Speech & Language Therapists
