EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
  • Two years’ direct neuropsychological/psychometric testing experience with a variety of clinical populations or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Eligible for certification with the Board of Certified Psychometrists.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Basic knowledge of psychology assessment and treatment methods and tools.
  • Basic knowledge of therapeutic, diagnostic and consultation techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately administer and score standardized tests.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Board of Certified Psychometrists professional Code of Ethics and standards of practice.
  • Basic knowledge of adult education principles, methods and tools.
  • Basic knowledge of other health care disciplines and their role in client care.
  • Basic knowledge of research process and methodology.
  • Basic knowledge of evidence based psychological practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a team member.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with, and deal effectively with, co-workers, clients and their families, both one-on-one and in groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective consultation.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise.
