Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Psychometrist to join the BC Psychosis Program at UBC Hospital in Vancouver, BC.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
- Two years’ direct neuropsychological/psychometric testing experience with a variety of clinical populations or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Eligible for certification with the Board of Certified Psychometrists
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Basic knowledge of psychology assessment and treatment methods and tools.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic, diagnostic and consultation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately administer and score standardized tests.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Board of Certified Psychometrists professional Code of Ethics and standards of practice.
- Basic knowledge of adult education principles, methods and tools.
- Basic knowledge of other health care disciplines and their role in client care.
- Basic knowledge of research process and methodology.
- Basic knowledge of evidence based psychological practice.
- Demonstrated ability to function as a team member.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with, and deal effectively with, co-workers, clients and their families, both one-on-one and in groups.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective consultation.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with conflict situations.
- Demonstrated ability to adjust to new or unexpected events.

- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
