JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Registered Psychotherapist (RP), qualifying psychotherapist, or Social Worker to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The successful candidate will provide psychotherapy services to clients within their scope of practice while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy of independent practice with the support of our clinic’s infrastructure. There are in-person office use opportunities in Sarnia, Ontario, and remote job opportunities.

SKILLS

  • Strong background in case management, ensuring holistic support for patients.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes and treatment efficacy.
  • Knowledge of special education practices as they relate to mental health support for clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and educators, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes, in alignment with CRPO Standards of Practice.
  • Provide individual, couples, or family psychotherapy (virtual or in-person, depending on preference).
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in alignment with the CRPO Standards of Practice.
  • Collaborate with LEO Psychotherapy team members to ensure quality care and client support.
