Thrive Psychological Services is a team of licensed psychologists, psychotherapists, nurse psychotherapists, and registered social workers aiming to provide compassionate, trauma-informed, and judgment-free therapy to the community of Sarnia Lambton. Offering virtual and in-person psychotherapy sessions, our clinic is experienced in a wide variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitizing and reprocessing (EMDR), and couples counselling.
Currently we are looking to add a registered psychotherapist, registered social worker, or nurse psychotherapist to our team in order to extend our clinic’s availability to some evenings and weekends.

REQUIREMENTS

• Registered (or Qualifying) Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker, or Nurse Psychotherapist. Must be able to provide diplomas, registration with applicable college in good standing, and proof of professional liability insurance.
• Strong knowledge of biopsychosocial (health psychology) and experience, including knowledge and experience with CBT, internal family systems, and attachment theory
• Must have training and experience practicing EMDR therapy
• Must have evening and weekend availability (2-3 shifts/week)
• Experience working with front line workers, first responders and paramilitary organizations an asset

• Provide high-quality psychotherapy sessions for individuals with diverse needs, in order to support and encourage the flourishing of their mental wellness
• Conduct sessions in-person or virtually depending on each client’s needs
• Maintain a professional environment with special care for client confidentiality, including accurate record-keeping of sessions in accordance with clinic standards
