Let’s build the future of mental health care together! ---------------------------------------- Summary/Objective  As a Psychotherapy Team Lead, you are a key player in contributing to the smooth operation and high quality of our clinical services. This position is designed for a skilled LCSW who is passionate about both direct clinical work and contributing to the broader success of a mental health organization. You have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to support other clinicians, manage clinical projects, and help shape our policies and procedures. The Director has the discretion to assign tasks, which may include leading pilot initiatives, 1:1 supervision and assisting with the interviewing and onboarding of new staff. Depending on the needs of the clinic, this role may or may not have direct reports. Essential Functions Serves as a Team Lead for 7-10 Psychotherapists with key responsibilities as follows: Direct Patient Care (50%-80%) * Provide virtual-first psychosocial assessments and psychotherapy to individuals with serious mental illness; facilitate patient engagement and follow-up care  * Provide audio-only follow-up sessions in the event of technical issues or if the patient is unable to access video technology. * Provide time-framed, goal-focused, skill-based psychotherapy using evidence-based techniques (including CBT, solution-focused treatment, motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and others) * Document treatment response and monitor clinical symptoms * Provide support and advocacy to caregivers and family members of patients with dementia and serious mental illness as needed * Lead/facilitate support groups and group therapy * As part of a multidisciplinary care team, identify social determinants of health needs that team members will work to resolve * Serve a crucial role on a multidisciplinary care team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, community health workers, and medical assistants; participate in huddles and multidisciplinary communication Operational and Administrative Duties (20-50%) including but not limited to: * Assist Clinical Operations team in addressing and reducing administrative errors, thus allowing more patient-facing time for clinicians  * Address time-sensitive coverage needs due to callouts and STAT/urgent calls * Facilitate clinician matching and oversight for intern shadowing * Support workflow processes for team and company initiatives * Co-Lead Weekly LCSW Staff Meetings  * Interviewing and onboarding new staff Competency Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Comfort working in a startup environment with a rapidly growing and evolving team * Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team setting * Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team * Ability to effectively engage patients and their caregivers in a therapeutic relationship * Ability to work with patients via telehealth platform and via telephone * Working knowledge of differential diagnosis of common mental health and/or substance use disorders, when appropriate * Working knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial treatments and brief behavioral interventions for common mental health disorders, when appropriate (e.g., motivational interviewing, problem-solving treatment, behavioral activation) Required Education and Experience  * At least 1-2  years experience leading/supporting clinical teams and/or daily operations of a clinic * Experience with screening for common mental health and/or substance use disorders * Experience with assessment and treatment planning for common mental health and/or substance use disorders * LCSW/LMHC licensed in Florida or ability to become licensed in Florida and other states as required by the company Preferred Education and Experience  * 5-7 years of direct care clinical experience * Experience with collaborative care * Bilingual (Spanish-English and/or Haitian-Creole/English)  * LCSW licensed in Texas or ability to become licensed in Texas * Experience conducting psychotherapy via telehealth * Qualified Supervisor certification in Florida Supervisory Responsibilities  * May co-supervise Psychotherapy staff and/or MSW interns in this role.  Work Environment  Employees will work from their homes, utilizing virtual tools and software to manage tasks, communicate with team members, patients and other stakeholders. They will also complete administrative duties on a computer provided by the company.  Physical Demands  This role requires sitting for extended periods of time in front of a computer screen.  Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Full-time minimum 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday Other Duties Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. Responsibilities
