ABOUT THE POSITION ACLUNV seeks applicants for an administrative assistant position in Las Vegas, Nevada. The assistant will provide primary administrative support to Executive Director Athar Haseebullah, Esq. and to the remainder of the office as assigned. This posting is for a part time, in person position in our Las Vegas office with hours between approximately 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. It's possible that after time and upon mutual agreement, the position may become a full time position for the right candidate. RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Director COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Pay is based on experience and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $22-28 per hour. Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and maintain the Executive Director and other staff members' calendars, speaking engagements, and travel arrangements as directed; Manage office inventory and ordering as directed; Prepare meeting agendas, gather necessary materials, and providelogistical support; Take minutes, summarize discussions, and follow up on action items; Prepare, submit, and maintain expense reports; Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of special projects; Assist in managing vendors, etc.; and Provide general administrative support and other related responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Experience as an administrative assistant, receptionist, or work in a similar administrative role; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Strong written and verbal communication abilities; Ability to work beyond ordinary hours in some instances; Social media skills (preferred but not required); Other language skills (preferred but not required).
