Graduate with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy Assistant from a physical therapist curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education, American Physical Therapy Association, or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and American Physical Therapy Association. Currently licensed in the state in which practicing One (1) year experience preferred in a home health setting Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Weekends as needed PRN and Part time needed License/Certification: CPR Certification (Preferred) Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required) Job Type and Pay: PRN to Part-time $35-45/hr Up to 20 hours a week
Responsibilities
The role involves providing physician-prescribed physical therapy to improve or minimize residual physical disabilities and return the individual to their optimum productive level. The assistant will also participate with other home care personnel in comprehensive patient care planning.
