PT CLINIC RECEPTIONIST

*Previous experience with Substance Abuse or Mental/Behavioral Health population preferred. *
The Recovery Village is expanding once again, and we’re seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our new Kansas City Outpatient Team in Gladstone!
Schedule: Mon- Thurs, 430pm-9pm, up to 24 hrs per week
Pay Ranges: $22-$25/hr

EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.In lieu of education, minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar role required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum one (1) year in a healthcare office setting.

DUTIES INCLUDE RECEPTION COVERAGE, COLLECTING CO-PAYMENTS, SCHEDULING FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS FOR CLIENTS AND CONDUCTING UA’S.

The Recovery Village Kansas City is a physician-led adult rehab facility dedicated to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care for substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Our new Gladstone location will offer Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) services, expanding our current range of treatment options.

CORE JOB DUTIES:

  • Greets visitors and clients while maintaining appropriate, professional boundaries and excellentcustomer service.
  • Maintains the visitor and employee sign-in/sign-out logs. Ensures all visitors and given a “Visitor”badge and ensures visitors return “Visitor” badge
  • Maintains and orders office supplies for facility.
  • Manages the scheduling, obtaining and reading of urine drug screens and urine pregnancy tests asordered.
  • Verify benefits and complete payment collections and work collaboratively with Clinical team.
  • Support in the collection and handling of lab specimens following established standards and practices
  • Adhere to infection control safety guidelines.
  • Maintaining equipment, instruments and stock supplies.
  • Knows the whereabouts of staff on a continuous basis.
  • Maintains a filing system for various company functions.
  • Assists with projects from other departments, as necessary.
  • Attends staff meetings, when necessary.
  • Maintains confidentiality pertaining to clients and families.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
