Reporting to the Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
  • To be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
  • To maintain wine, spirits, and beer master files.
  • To maintain the customer and vendor master files.
  • To co-ordinate maintenance of wine, spirits, and beer equipment and software programs.
  • To co-ordinate Store Point file maintenance activities for the Wine, Spirits and Beer department.
  • To answer the phone and reply to emails in a friendly and courteous manner as required (communicate).
  • To maintain a constant alert against the unauthorized removal of merchandise.
  • To be responsible for the adherence to Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) operating guidelines/pricing.
  • To be familiar with and adhere to all Saskatoon co-op policies and procedures.
  • To perform other duties as assigned.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Assist in billing LTO’s/ charge backs to vendors .
  • Assist in billing for commercial permits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Have or willing to obtain Serve It Right Saskatchewan.
  • Must be strongly service-oriented and motivated, and capable of serving customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Must be well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision.
  • Must have an enhanced understanding of margin and cost calculation.
  • Must possess sufficient Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Spreadsheet knowledge and skills.
  • Must possess sufficient data entry experience.
  • Computer skills and knowledge.
  • Preference will be given to those who possess knowledge and experience in the operation of the Store Point computer system.
  • Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
  • a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
