We are looking for experienced PT or FT cafe assistants to join our friendly team in Acomb. We are recruiting for 2 or 3 positions either full time or part time across the following days:
Mondays (barista trained), Tuesdays (x2 staff needed - barista trained), Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays (x2 staff needed), Sundays (barista trained)
Must have great customer service skills, food handling knowledge and work well alongside a busy team. Barista expertise is needed for the above days - for the other days training will be given to the right candidate.
Acomb bakery & cafe, a popular, lively and accessible space, is one of the Bluebird Bakery outlets. We also have shops in York Shambles, Beverley, Malton, Leeds and Holmfirth.
We are a small but friendly company with benefits including free staff lunches, bread to take home and an annual Christmas bonus.
Ideally we need the successful candidates to start at the beginning of September, training to start last week of August.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.60-£12.75 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
