Responsibilities/Qualifications Maple Heights Retirement Community is looking for a Housekeeper in Allen Park, MI. The housekeeper is an essential member of the team. The responsibilities are cleaning residents’ rooms. We are looking for staff to enhance the lives of our residents by being a positive part of their environment. This will be accomplished by completing your tasks in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating with others to attain goals. Experience working in a memory care unit is recommended. Duties: Cleaning resident’s apartments: mopping, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms Work consistently and cooperatively with residents, coworkers and family members Be mindful to keep all chemicals out of the residents’ areas Be economical with supplies and equipment Treat all residents with dignity and respect Protect residents from accidents and injuries Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or executive director Benefits include: Opportunities for advancement Pay starts with orientation Paid time off DailyPay; access your pay anytime Medical, dental and vision for full time employees (30 hours and up) Requirements: Able to pass a criminal background check High school diploma or GED Must be 18 years old Reliable transportation Residential cleaning experience preferred The capacity to work as a team Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift
