Job Description CARQUEST Halifax are looking for a dependable person (s) that are able to work two days per week as a delivery driver within HRM between 8am to 5pm varied days during the week and or Saturday from 8am-4pm as parts counter staff. Primary Responsibilities (Counter) • Above average customer service and DIY issue resolution • Provide a positive selling experience for all DIY and professional customers including walk-in, on-line orders and phone • Ability to lookup and suggest parts and or job related supplies • Cash handling and bank deposits • Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards • Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties) . Be available Saturday from 8am to 4pm Primary Responsibilities (Delivery Driver) Delivery to our customers in a timely manner Check orders thoroughly for accuracy Solid knowledge of HRM and surrounding areas Class 5 with a clean driving record Be available two days 8am to 5pm throughout the weekday (day to be determined) Secondary Responsibilities • Assist in store inventory processes including POGs, truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc. • Back Up to Professional services • Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot Essential Job Skills • Speak and write English; communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; ability to write simple correspondence • Understand and execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form • Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Strong organizational skills • Ability to work an assortment of days during the week and Saturday California Residents click below for Privacy Notice: https://jobs.advanceautoparts.com/us/en/disclosures Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is a leading automotive aftermarket parts provider that serves both professional installers and do-it-yourself customers.
