Job Description: We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assistant with Limited Scope X-ray program. This is a part-time, professional position, reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach the X-ray coursework in the MA with Limited Scope X-Ray program. Applicants will aslo be expected to provide academic advising to the students, assist the Program Director by participating in department trainings, meetings, and graduation. Requirements: * Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required * Certifications: * ARRT Limited Scope X-ray - REQUIRED and * CCMA and/or * RMA and/or * CMA * At least 3 years of experience as an RMA/CMA/CCMA with Limited Scope X-ray in a clinical setting * Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills * Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven * Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience is highly desired but not required

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility will be to teach the X-ray coursework in the Medical Assistant with Limited Scope X-ray program. Additionally, the instructor will provide academic advising and assist the Program Director with department activities.
