Position Overview Department: Acute Rehab Services Schedule: PRN Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist. Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population. Document treatment interventions given. May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Required Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Required. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
