Responsibilities: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Provide physical therapy treatments according to treatment plans.
• Assist Physical Therapist when performing tests, evaluations, & complex treatments.
• Looking for an individual who is highly motivated for optimal patient care with good time management and a strong team first mindset.
• Observe, record and report to the therapist the conditions, reactions and responses related to assigned duties.
• Maintain daily records of treatments and document progress notes on residents as directed by the therapist.
• Assist with the care of the physical therapy department and equipment.
• Assist the Physical Therapist with in-service programs and other meetings.
• Attend and participate in, or provide information for, rehabilitation team conferences regarding resident progress, problems or needs.
• Perform duties in an independent manner and recognizes situations where direct supervision is needed; willingly help others.

Certificates/Licenses: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
