We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hard working person to join our team in a managerial capacity. In this role you will be ultimately be responsible for ensuring that our customers enjoy their time in the bar and receive a high level of customer service.
Candidates should hold a range of previous bar experience including knowledge of beer, both craft and traditional.
In the managerial role, you should be competent in the following:
Financial
· Effective weekly ordering and management of wet goods.
· Ensuring all supplier accounts and invoices are kept on file and in good order.
· P&L accountability for the site
· Management of company monies, (banking and change)
· Use of EPOS systems to ensure management information is captured, interpreting reports and taking action where necessary.
Customer service
· Ensure that all Customers receive great service and products
· Customer flow is managed to ensure sales opportunities are driven and excess waiting times are avoided
· Customer issues are identified and resolved prior to guests leaving site
· Opportunities for additional sales are maximized
Team
You should help the manager across varies aspects, including:
· Leading by example and ensuring team members are trained to deliver excellent guest experiences and optimise selling opportunities
· All team members are trained in line with company policies (ie. Risk, fire & licensing)
· To coach team members who need further support
· Management of team performance taking corrective action in line with company guidelines
· Payroll and holiday management via company tools within specified timeframes
· Holding Team Meetings to ensure all team members are up to date.
· Appraising team members in line with company tools.
Administrative
In the absence of the manager, you will be required to be:
· Responsible for Health & Safety and updating records using company tools
· Responsible for quality of products on sale. (ie. Line cleaning)
· Responsible for waste management of site
· Attending meetings as required
· Assisting across the area as and when required
· Undertaking projects – theme nights/festivals, art wall etc.
· Responsible for safety, security and welfare of the site
· Ensure repairs/renewals of fixtures/fittings within site are managed effectively.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Passionate about customer service and deliver exceptional service to both local/regular customers along with new clientele, delivering a warm welcome every time.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the U.K. And be able to work evenings/weekends.
