We are a dynamic, growing biopharma company with offices in Denmark, Germany and the United States. Today, we’re advancing programs in Endocrinology Rare Disease, Oncology, and Ophthalmology. Join our dynamic team as a Public Affairs Summer Intern and gain invaluable experience in one of the most critical areas of the industry. This internship will provide hands-on experience for a qualified candidate and can be a meaningful opportunity to gain exposure to an essential function within the industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop bi-weekly media report on top stories in industry-specific outlets, summarizing relevant rare disease, industry and healthcare coverage to be shared internally. Support and manage content management for Ascendis US Linked page. Assist in storyboarding, coordination and filming of patient videos for use in social media and on the US affiliate website Participate in team meetings and planning discussions to gain exposure to public affairs strategy and execution across functions. Desired Skills and Qualifications: · Strong research, writing, and analytical skills · Proficient in Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, Word) · Interest in public affairs, health care policy, communications, and/or patient advocacy · Enrolled undergraduate student Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in communications, public health, public affairs or related field. Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This internship will pay $26-34/hr depending on your years of education completed. This is a summer internship position with a duration of 8-12 weeks. You will be an external W2 contractor reporting to an Ascendis manager, no Ascendis benefits will be provided for this limited duration contract.
