Working in a team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and presentable public areas in a 5-star resort environment.   Full availability and flexibility is required to work day and evenings shifts 8am-4pm and 4pm-12am on a weekly rotating roster, including weekdays, evenings, weekends & public holidays.      This could be just the right role for you?   As a Public Area Cleaner, you will clock up your step count each day, actively moving around our large resort, cleaning spaces in the back of house, front of house and outdoor public areas. You will interact with staff & guests daily, providing a friendly & professional service to deliver a consistently high standard of service to our guests. Your key responsibilities for the role will include:   Physical activity working on your feet vacuuming, mopping, wiping & dusting, restocking amenities & rubbish removal   Cleaning front of house: lobby, restrooms, pool area, lifts, public areas, restaurants & bars, conference & event spaces, gym, day spa, carpark etc   Cleaning back of house: hallways, offices, restrooms, change rooms, staff room etc   Operating cleaning equipment & machinery ie. vacuum, floor scrubber, floor sweeper, carpet cleaner etc   Handling chemicals & heavy lifting   Pressure washing outdoor surfaces   Perform duties in a safe working environment   Interacting with guests and assisting them in a friendly, helpful and professional manner   Working in a team or autonomously      What you’ll need to be successful   Full availability and flexibility to work 3+ shifts week 8am-4pm and 4pm-12am on a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays Experience in a public area cleaning role in a 4-5 star hotel/resort, or a similar environment  General cleaning knowledge & experience using commercial cleaning equipment & machinery including floor scrubbers and vacuums, chemical handling & health and safety practices   Clear communication and customer service skills, interacting with guests in a friendly & professional manner  Show attention to detail, work efficiently using initiative, be proactive with a positive attitude and take pride in your work   Good time management skills and work well in a team environment to perform duties responsibly and autonomously when required   Actively perform repetitive manual tasks, heavy lifting and working on your feet   Excellent personal presentation      We are Offering   Competitive hourly rate + penalties evenings, weekends & public holidays   Generous employee benefits & discounts on RACV products & resorts   Employee of the month awards & recognition programs + healthy team culture Training, development and career progression opportunities Laundered uniform  Parking onsite     The RACV difference   Be part of a team who cares.
