Job Description The Public Area Executive ensures that all public spaces within the hotel are clean, well-maintained, safe, and presentable at all times. This role involves routine cleaning, inspection, and upkeep of lobbies, corridors, restrooms, banquet areas, recreational facilities, and other common areas. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including: Lobby and reception areas Corridors and elevators Public restrooms Restaurants and banquet spaces Meeting rooms Gym, spa, and recreational facilities Outdoor entrances and walkways Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces. Ensure public washrooms are stocked with supplies such as soap, tissues, and hand towels. Remove trash and maintain waste disposal areas. Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department. Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning machinery safely. Follow hotel cleanliness standards, hygiene procedures, and safety regulations. Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special events setup when required. Respond promptly to guest requests related to public area cleanliness. Maintain proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping, facility maintenance, or hospitality is an advantage. Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
