Start your career at Sheraton, where you don't just work - you belong.   Primary Duties: · Clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, counter tops, cigarette urns and toilets in public areas. · Empty rubbish bins and pick up loose paper from the floors, clean sinks and counter tops, vacuum, sweep and mop floors. · Sweep or blow down areas using hand held battery operated blower · Replace toilet tissue and refill soap containers and paper towel dispensers. · Ensure that any lost and found items are logged with housekeeping valet as per the standard and procedure. · Clean and polish furniture, marble floors, vinyl floors, entrance doors, walls and other fixtures. · Dust and clean light bulbs and lampshades. · Spot clean and shampoo carpets as required. · Empty rubbish bins, vacuum and dust offices. · Maintain the highest standard of personal cleanliness and grooming. · Report any maintenance issues to a Supervisor. · Must be able to exert well-paced mobility and agility in a variety of work areas including small spaces. · Ensure that your work area is kept clean at all times. · Show due care of all equipment, report maintenance issues to supervisor. · Report and/or take action on any equipment breakdown or safety issue relevant to your work area. · To attend work on time, ensuring that you are at your workstation in line with your rostered shift requirement.   At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
