We’re looking for a passionate and progressive Public Health Consultant to help us improve the health and wellbeing of our residents. Sutton is a diverse and dynamic place, and we’re committed to tackling health inequalities and creating a healthier community for everyone.
This is a fixed-term locum consultant role for six months initially.

You’ll be a key player in shaping public health in Sutton and your responsibilities will include

• Working with the DPH to provide expert advice to the Council and partner organisations on a wide range of public health issues.
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the public, private, and voluntary sectors to address health inequalities and improve population health.
• Developing and implementing evidence-based public health strategies and interventions.
• Monitoring and evaluating the impact of public health interventions and ensuring continuous improvement.
• Helping to coach and develop junior colleagues in the team
