The following qualifications, skills and experience are desired for the successful candidate;

  • The ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical clients.
  • Applying data analysis approaches to provide evidence-based advice and insights for clients to determine the ‘so what’ and potential impacts.
  • Interest and first-hand experience with either PPP, Construction and/or Operation and Maintenance contracts.
  • Background in a client-facing role within an engineering consultancy firm or experience working within an infrastructure owner/operator;
  • Project delivery team leadership experience; a track record of successfully forming and managing agile multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Supporting business development and work winning activities
Responsibilities

As a Principal Technical Advisor , you will be comfortable with uncertainty and able to handle a varied workload of clients and projects. We would expect you to be involved with work winning, project delivery and to lead tasks and teams. We would also expect you to be flexible and work in an agile way for our clients. This also includes occasional business travel for site visits, client meetings and conference attendance.
The successful candidate will be technical expert with excellent analysis and report writing skills. Capable in leading work with clients alongside leading projects and tasks and contributing as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop presentations and reports. You will be passionate about learning continuously, adapting to new tasks, and working on different types of problems and solutions. Supporting us as we grow our team capability and services, and developing junior staff members will also feature within this role.
