JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and people-focused Public Sector Procurement Specialist to support our business development efforts in the public sector, throughout Georgia. This role is suited for individuals with a strong understanding of government procurement, who are relationship-driven and capable of strategically expanding Maxair’s footprint through pre-qualified procurement resources like OMNIA Partners, GSA Schedule and negotiated agreements.
Rather than pursuing traditional bid opportunities, the emphasis is on leveraging existing strategic, non-competitive procurement resources through cooperative purchasing mechanisms and negotiated work, wherever possible
Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• 3+ years’ experience in public procurement, business development, or sales—preferably in HVAC, plumbing, controls, or a related construction field
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and/or Georgia Procurement Manual and the application to procurement processes including cooperative procurement, contract management, ethics and compliance
