Job description
Public Protection Operational Policy (PPOP) Lead: Based in 1 Ruskin Square, Croydon, this role is directly responsible some of the team’s high profile operational policies.
PPOPS policy areas include: the Power to Detain Dangerous Standard Determinate Sentence Prisoners; Licence Conditions; Recall, Review and Rerelease of Recalled Prisoners; the Generic Parole Process; Supervision of Indeterminate Sentences; and Progression Regimes. As well as the policies the postholder will directly lead on, they will also provide support to the other two band 7 Policy Leads in the team for their areas of policy, as necessary.
