JOB SUMMARY:

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for handling all government-related documentation, visa processing, and regulatory requirements in compliance with UAE labor laws. The PRO must ensure the timely and accurate submission of documentation to relevant authorities, maintain strong relationships with government departments, and stay up to date with evolving rules and regulations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a PRO in the UAE with strong knowledge of UAE labor and immigration regulations.
  • Familiarity with online portals such as GDRFA, MOHRE, ICP, and Free Zone authority systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple government-related transactions simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the completion, submission, and follow-up of all visa and immigration-related documents to ensure they are processed within the timelines set by UAE government authorities.
  • Handle visa processing (new, renewal, cancellation) for employees and dependents across Mainland and Free Zone jurisdictions.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of labor, immigration, and residency laws in the UAE, ensuring full compliance at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with immigration offices, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), and other government and semi-government entities.
  • Responsible for processing Trade License renewals, establishment card renewals, and other company-related government registrations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external clients to provide PRO-related support, including document collection and submission.
  • Manage MOFA attestation processes for official documents such as educational certificates, marriage certificates, etc.
  • Liaise effectively with employees (junior to senior levels) and clients to ensure transparency and timely communication regarding government procedures.
  • Keep the management informed of any changes in government laws and regulations that may impact business operations.
