QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in a similar PRO/government liaison role (preferably in the F&B, hospitality, or retail sector).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration protocols, and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues with professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and capacity to work autonomously under strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is primarily responsible for managing all government-related interactions and ensuring strict compliance with UAE laws and regulations for our company. This includes handling visa processing, labor card matters, document attestation, and acting as a key liaison with various government departments. The PRO serves as a crucial link between the restaurant and governmental entities to facilitate smooth operations and legal compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all procedures for employee visa and labor permits, ensuring timely submission and adherence to government requirements.
  • Liaise with immigration, labor, municipality, and other relevant UAE authorities for approvals, renewals, and official documentation.
  • Manage the attestation, translation, and authentication of company and employee documents as required by law.
  • Ensure all business licenses, food safety permits, and compliance certificates are valid, renewed, and meet the latest regulations.
  • Coordinate health and safety inspections, respond to municipality and regulatory queries, and facilitate corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor and organize documentation for VAT, tax filings, and municipality fees in partnership with finance teams.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all government interactions, licensed activities, and compliance-related matters for audits and legal review.
  • Advise management on legal and regulatory risks, ensuring proactive compliance across all operational and HR-related procedures.
