We have an immediate opening for an Entry-Level Public Relations and Communications Assistant to join our growing team supporting nonprofit and charitable organizations. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about communications, public engagement, and mission-driven work. You will help coordinate outreach efforts, support fundraising and awareness campaigns, and assist in planning and executing community-based events that promote meaningful charitable initiatives. Our team works closely with nonprofit partners to increase visibility, strengthen community relationships, and drive engagement through in-person events and strategic communication efforts. Key Responsibilities Support the Marketing Manager in developing and executing outreach and communications strategies with nonprofit partners Assist in the planning and coordination of charitable campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and community events Serve as a day-to-day communications contact, representing nonprofit brands professionally and positively Communicate clearly and consistently with internal teams and external partners Contribute creative ideas to increase awareness, engagement, and community involvement Assist in organizing and executing on-site and off-site charity events Monitor industry and nonprofit trends and share relevant insights and recommendations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred 1+ year of experience in communications, PR, marketing, or customer-facing roles preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, evolving environment Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, positive attitude Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and passionate about nonprofit and charitable work.
