Spotlight Retail Group is looking for a proactive and dynamic Public Relations (PR) & Partnerships Specialist to join our Brand Marketing team!

THE OPPORTUNITY
As our PR & Partnerships Specialist at Spotlight, you will be a key member of our team, working closely with the Marketing Manager of Campaigns and Partnerships. This is a hybrid role, with a flexible one week in, one week out schedule based at our South Melbourne office.
You will be responsible for executing the PR and partnership strategies for both the Spotlight and KOO brands. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a keen eye for detail who can bring fresh ideas and energy to our campaigns.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in PR, ideally with an agency background working with retail clients or in an in-house retail role.

Public Relations: Lead the development and execution of PR strategies for all brand activity, campaigns, and product launches. You’ll work closely with our external PR agency to drive consistent, proactive media coverage and create newsworthy content.
Partnerships: Manage and execute key partnership activities with major organizations like My Kitchen Rules (MKR), Starlight Foundation, and the AFL. This includes building and nurturing relationships with corporate partners to bring campaigns to life.
Event Management: Oversee a variety of events, from conception to execution. This includes managing budgets, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless delivery of all event elements.
Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on the effectiveness of PR and partnership campaigns, ensuring all activities are aligned with our commercial goals. You’ll use your analytical skills and experience with PR applications like Meltwater to measure success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Social Media and Campaigns teams to amplify hype around key events and partnerships through integrated marketing initiatives.
