We are looking for a skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting public relations campaigns, newsroom management, and cross-functional collaborations for a leading restaurant and catering brand. Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, processing invoices, tracking purchase orders, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Assist in creating and distributing PR materials for internal stakeholders and external agency partners.
  • Manage and maintain newsroom content by coordinating schedules, editing materials, and publishing updates with agency collaboration.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop engaging blog content that aligns with strategic priorities and resonates with target audiences.
  • Monitor performance metrics for blogs and campaigns, providing recommendations for improvements based on analytics.
  • Coordinate logistics for PR campaigns, including tracking timelines, managing documentation, and ensuring quality assurance for social media calendars.
  • Facilitate communication with external agencies and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support go-to-market strategies by aligning PR and social media campaigns with broader marketing approaches.
  • Engage with internal and external teams to execute brand activation campaigns, ensuring alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Organize and document meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on key action items.
  • Proven experience in public relations, including media relations and drafting press releases.
  • Strong skills in managing social media initiatives and creating engaging content.
  • Ability to handle media pitches and collaborate effectively with external agencies.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in tracking and analyzing performance metrics to optimize PR campaigns.
  • Experience in coordinating logistics and maintaining quality assurance for various marketing materials.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with public relations tools and best practices.
