Free On-site Gourmet Employee Lunches New Modern Office with Indoor/Outdoor Meeting Spaces Requirements Job Title: Public Safety Supervisor Department: Public Safety Status: FT Year Round Hourly Reporting To: Sr. Manager Public Safety Position Overview: The Public Safety Supervisor is responsible for providing day to day leadership for the public safety team. This role ensures the safety and protection of guests, residents, team members, and assets across multiple worksites, including mountain operations, lodges, residential neighborhoods, and event spaces. The supervisor assists the senior manager with all security operations, including access control, patrols, incident response, investigations, and emergency preparedness. They will assist in managing the public safety team and coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to uphold a safe and welcoming environment. This position requires strong leadership, confidentiality, and the ability to balance world class hospitality with effective risk management. Key Responsibilities: Monitors, responds, and provides direction to staff during emergency situations. Identifies and acts to mitigate potential threats to physical security, team member safety, and asset protection. Conducts security system inspections. Conducts incident investigations. Recommends security protocols based on findings of security inspections. Updates and maintains security procedures and documentation. Interviews, hires, and trains public safety officers. Provides training on security procedures and equipment. Work with confidential and classified information Coordination with local law enforcement and private security teams Performs other related duties as required. Monitors time and labor according to budget Requirements and/or Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or work experience in Criminal Justice or related field required. Knowledge of security protocol and procedures. Excellent supervisory skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Security specialist certification preferred Previous law enforcement or higher federal enforcement experience preferred Club experience preferred with a focus on high net worth individuals. Luxury hospitality experience preferred First Aid, CPR, AED required, First Responder certification preferred At least 21 years of age Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record Basic knowledge of 2-way radio and mobile device use Physical Requirements- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to: Full range of body movements Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (40+lbs) Prolonged periods of standing, walking Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain Climb/descend stairs/ladders Frequent and repetitive motion getting in/out of vehicles Working Environment: Work is performed inside and outside. Position is frequently exposed to extreme temperatures, sun and wind, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (9,000ft+)
