WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales in public services
  • Experience in complex account management
  • Understanding the principles of solution & cloud selling
  • Knowledge of ERP market and software industry
  • Local Public Sector Market knowledge
  • French and Dutch mandatory + English

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Public Services Account Executive supports existing and new customers in their business transformation through adopting enterprise cloud software.
It implies ability to coordinate the long term collaboration between multiple stakeholders and a personal interest in the sector dynamics.
His/Her objectives is to achieve revenue targets via active engagements on selected opportunities, build a productive pipeline and secure satisfaction and renewal of existing subscriptions.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Responsible for creation, monitoring and review of business development activities around selected accountsto ensure KPI achievement.
  • Articulates SAP’s strategy towards customers.
  • Fast and accurate sales administration through productive tools.
  • Continuous learning and understanding both SAP solutions and market demands.
  • Creates and nurtures professional network with customers, partners and other influencers.
  • Identifies opportunities for further growth in the territory and collaborates actively with other sales areas (solution specialists, customer success partners, enterprise architects, service partners,..)
  • Coaches solution sales reps to interact with end-customers in large or complex deals in order to position the value of the respective solution as supported by ROI, business case development, references, and supporting analyst data. Ensures high conversion rate from pipeline to deal closure, shortening of the sales cycle and improvement of win rate in order to achieve targets.
  • Drives deal closure by personal involvement in larger and complex opportunities assigned.
  • Reporting on sales progress throughout the year; identification of deviations from plans agreed and actively engaging in measures to deliver goals agreed to.
