Job Description Publican (Venue Manager) | Finsbury Hotel We’re not just looking for a Venue Manager, we're on the hunt for a REAL Publican, someone who lives and breathes hospitality, leads from the front, and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love. The Finsbury Hotel is located on Hanson Road in Woodville North. We’ve been serving locals for years, and continue to offer something for everyone. Our Sports Bar has live sport broadcasting on our screens so guests will never miss a moment of the action. Our friendly staff are pouring ice cold beer and cider, plus a range of wine and spirits - our guests are sure to find something they'll love to sip on. In addition to our friendly Sports Bar, The Finsbury Hotel also offers modern and affordable accommodation at our Nightcap Hotel. Just steps away from the Sports Bar, accommodation guests have access to all the facilities at The Finsbury Hotel. Salary: From $92,000 + superannuation + bonus A day in the life of a Publican: You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L. You run the place like it’s your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant. You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team. Inherent requirements: This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries).
