The Global and National Security Institute (GNSI) is seeking a motivated and dependable Graduate Assistant to support publication operations in alignment with the Institute’s mission.

• Assist the Publications Coordinator with proofreading, editing, and finalizing conference reports and decision briefs
• Support the organization and development of post-conference reports by writing substantial sections and helping shape key information.
• Record detailed notes during conferences and events to support the development of post-event reports.
• Assist with SEO optimization of video and podcast publications.
• Provide general office support to the Strategy and Research Manager and the GNSI staff.
• Support conference-related projects associated with the strategy and research team’s responsibilities.
• Perform clerical duties utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Provide additional support as assigned under the guidance of the Senior Director.

• Must be a current USF GRADUATE student.
• Ability to multitask, follow directions, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and dependability.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to rotate assignments on short notice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Teams.
• Professional demeanor when interacting with guests and stakeholders.
