Simon & Schuster Canada is seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Publicity Director to lead and manage all aspects of publicity campaigns for our frontlist and key backlist titles across Canada. This role is a full-time, hybrid (2-3 days in office) contract position covering parental leave, with a prorated salary based on the duration of the contract. It is anticipated that this contract will last approximately12-14 months. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the Canadian media landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of securing impactful coverage for books and authors within the Canadian literary market.
As a key leader, you will shape the public image of our titles and authors in Canada, working collaboratively with editorial, marketing, and sales teams to deliver cohesive and high-impact campaigns tailored for Canadian audiences.
