We reward productivity with higher earnings and a work environment that truly values your contributions.JOB DESCRIPTION:The responsibility of the Pullaway is to shuttle pallets of product to specified areas of the warehouse, and assist with the receiving, tagging, and lumping of product prior to its final destination.Pay Range: $20 (Base Minimum) - $20 per hourShift: First Shift – Monday to Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30pmESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operation of an end/mid rider truck safely and efficiently.
• Prepare customers’ orders for shipments by shrink wrapping for safety.
• Pulling pallets down aisles to be placed in designated areas in all three temperature zones (grocery, cooler, and freezer).
• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identify unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyor belt
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
