This 45-bed unit provides care for patients with pulmonary and complex medical conditions, offering a collaborative work environment with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Nurses here gain broad experience in respiratory and medical-surgical care while advancing their careers. Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to pulmonary and medical-surgical patients. Conduct assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status. Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes. Uphold hospital standards for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. Qualifications Current RN license in Florida or Compact state. Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the past 4 years). ADN/Diploma required; BSN preferred. BLS required at start; NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months. Compensation & Benefits Up to $43/hr plus night and weekend differentials. $25K sign-on bonus for nights; $15K for days.
