Your expertise in your field will allow you to advance the patient plan of care to achieve the best possible outcomes Exceptional Skills and Qualifications You have earned an Associate’s Degree from an accredited respiratory care program. Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License require; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is preferred CPR Certified, ACLS can be obtained once employed Pulmonary Rehab program experience preferred; a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; along with supervisory experience preferred You are able to assess patients for participation in, and coordinate the Pulmonary Rehab program You are able to provide respiratory- related skills training and coordinate the skill training provided to other departments, i.e., Pharmacy, Dietetics, and Chaplaincy You are able to monitor and supervise physical condition, market program, monitor billing, and reimbursement issues You are able to communicate tactfully and effectively with patients, staff, physicians and visitors. You have the ability to conduct telephone follow-up with patients. Improve program as appropriate based on changing trends in pulmonary rehab Your experience coordinating communication opportunities with various Pulmonary Rehab caregivers will also be one of your most vital skills as a Pulmonary Rehab Coordinator
Responsibilities
As a Pulmonary Rehab Coordinator, you will partner with physicians and staff to provide patient-centered care and advance the patient plan of care. You will also coordinate the Pulmonary Rehab program and monitor various aspects including billing and patient follow-up.
