Job Description Reporting to the Mine Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for installing, operating, and troubleshooting various types of pumps used in the mining industry. This role requires a strong understanding of pump systems, safety protocols, and teamwork. About the Role Monitoring pump performance and adjust settings as needed to maintain optimal operation. Conducting regular inspections of pump systems to identify wear and tear, leaks, or other issues. Complying and execute all work requirements in accordance with operational plans. Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations. Communicating any deviations to plans to the Mine Services Supervisor. Maintaining accurate records of pump operations activities, and inventory of spare parts. Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in pump operations. Ensuring pumps are working in accordance with the OEM requirements. Advising Supervisors as soon as an issue or concern is identified that has the potential to prevent mining operations from being achieved. Sharing knowledge and expertise with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement within the crew. Roster and Location Lifestyle Dayshift Only - 11.5hr Roster Based in the West Facility About You To be successful in securing this role, you must have: A NSW Drivers Licence; A positive and can-do attitude; A strong focus on safety; Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills; Good communication skills The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships Demonstrated ability for good record-keeping and documentation.
