COMPANY OVERVIEW - PUMP ENGINEER

Our client, a leader in their sector, are currently looking for a Pump Service Engineer to join their highly valued team on a full-time basis.
This Company are a reputable business with over 25 years’ experience within the Industry. They are currently entering another period of growth and are looking to expand their team to keep up with high customer demand.
This is an exciting time for the company and the right candidate for the role will need to be enthusiastic, forward thinking and personable with the drive to hit the floor running in order to take full advantage of the opportunities available to them.
This is a Field-based role and you will be working with multiple clients across different sectors. These include Residential, Commercial, Public Sector, Hospitality & Retail.
Some of the services offered within the division are maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment. Previous experience within all of these areas is preferred although not essential.
You will be part of a team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered. You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently and effectively.

PUMP ENGINEER SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

· A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (Essential)
· A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
· At least 2 years of experience working within the sector
· Relevant qualifications are desirable such as BS7671:2008 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification would be highly advantageous.
· A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
· Good product knowledge of the following: Grey water and effluent systems/ submersible pumping stations.

Responsibilities

· Working in the following sectors:Residential, Commercial, Public Sector, Hospitality & Retail.
· Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
· Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team
· Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to.
· Work on client sites performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
· Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment.
· Work with grey water and effluent systems and work within confined spaces.
· Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, with the use of a PDA and mobile phone.
· Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers.
· Work independently or as a member of a team.
· Attending to call outs on a rotational basis - Participate in our Emergency Call Out Rota.
· Covering the following area: London & surrounding areas.
