Job Title: Regional Pump Engineer
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £35k-£45k depending on experience + Bonus on top!
Hours: Monday-Friday 07:30-16:30
Call out - £150 p/w and paid O/T for every hour called out

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Regional Pump Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in working with Diesel Pumps.

Responsibilities

DESCRIPTION/JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reducing backlogs of non-RFH equipment at depots, either on-site or when transported to the “home depot.”
  • Undertaking major repairs and refurbishments.
  • Assisting depots/regions in keeping servicing up to date, both on-site and at the depot.
  • Travel and overnight stays required (travel time paid, excluding the first and last 30 minutes of the day).

GENERAL FITTER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose faults and repair/maintain a variety of pumps, hoses, and generators in the fleet, both on and off-site.
  • Check and tag all equipment and update service records.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and full range of accessories.
  • Assist in ensuring equipment availability.
  • Complete all test certificates and associated paperwork.
  • Adhere to best safe working practices at all times and ensure appropriate PPE is worn.
  • Report all incidents/accidents.
  • Follow customer Health & Safety rules when on-site.
  • Keep workshop and vehicle (where provided) organised, clean, and tidy.
  • Assist with general workshop duties as required.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the General Manager.
  • Experience in pumps, hoses, and generators is essential.
  • CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable.
  • A valid driving licence is essential.
  • Flexible attitude to suit the changing needs of the region.
  • Above-average fitting abilities and problem-solving skills.
