Atlas Dewatering Corporation, established in 1946, has well over seventy years’ experience in the construction industry and is a leader in construction dewatering and environmental groundwater/surface water management. Atlas also specializes in bypass pumping systems, providing pump rentals, sales and service. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and service with knowledgeable and dedicated staff in both dewatering and bypass projects.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:
Atlas Dewatering Corporation is seeking a full time person, with knowledge to maintain our diesel and electric/hydraulic pump fleet. The person in this role have the ability to perform diagnosis, service/maintenance and repairs on diesel engines while ensuring high service standards. Experience with pumps, pump ends and related equipment is desired. Our successful candidate will be a proven leader and oversee the team coordination of service and equipment while demonstrating a commitment to innovation and ongoing strategic improvement. Key capabilities of this position include a strong capacity to work with onsite clients and in a shop team environment. The health and safety of employees, clients and property is a key aspect of this job.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED required; graduate of a technical/vocational training program is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years mechanical experience.
- Must be knowledgeable in engine mechanics and operating principles for diesel engines.
- Clean Drivers Abstract and G Class License
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Service and repair Atlas’ pumping and power generating equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform regular maintenance and servicing on equipment in the rental fleet to ensure product reliability.
- Perform inspections of fleet equipment for possible damages and report and document damages accordingly.
- Test all equipment prior to releasing from yard.
- Conduct repairs to customer owned Equipment.
- Conduct warranty work on Atlas owned and customer owned equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be willing to be available after hours and weekends.
