Alternate Job Title: Portable Restroom Driver/Operator Job Summary: The Portable Restroom Driver/Operator operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes, controlling the truck's pump or similar equipment to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit their contents into the truck. Job Classification: Full-time & Part-time; non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Location: Punta Gorda, FL Responsibilities: * Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route; safely controls the pump as required to collect receptacles and deposit their contents in the truck. * Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on vehicle prior to embarking on route. * Refuels truck and performs basic maintenance. * Facilitates proper maintenance and mechanical service on truck by appropriate mechanics. * Transports waste to the proper location for processing and/or disposal. * Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues and documenting the same. * Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs. * Performs other related duties as assigned.
