Pumphouse, a venue rich in industrial history and situated in Sydney’s vibrant Darling Harbour and Darling Square precinct, is looking for a motivated and results orientated Pumphouse Bar Venue Events Sales Executive.
Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth for Pumphouse events by identifying new opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients. Your focus will be on generating revenue through strategic sales efforts and expanding our client base.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Pumphouse through market research, networking, and outreach.
  • Explore untapped markets and identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to implement sales strategies to grow venue sales.
  • Assist in creating and presenting proposals for Pumphouse’s services.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated sales experience in a hotel or venue environment.

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within venues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A natural leader with a passion for seeking out new business opportunities.
  • Enthusiastic about building relationships and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Focused, Motivated and self-driven team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
