Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Sales Desk Administrative Assistant to support our Tooling Technicians and Outside Sales team and provide excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring that customer interactions are seamless and efficient. This role involves regular communication with customers and co-workers, with a strong focus on managing customer account information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers via phone and email to assist with all aspects of their accounts and orders.
  • Address customer and sales inquiries and provide first-line support for questions.
  • Confirm delivery information and provide tracking and invoice details as needed.
  • Index customer quote emails into SAP.
  • Manage and update customer account data in SAP, following established compliance practices (Gatekeeper).
  • Support co-workers and outside sales agents with various administrative needs.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the team and meet company objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior administrative experience, preferably in a sales support role.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or shop environment is a plus.
  • Experience in SAP is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
